About A&A Estate Wizards and their Estate Liquidation Sale Services
A&A Estate Wizards: A History
In the early 1980's Judy Potestio, then the antiques and collectibles specialist for Janet Lee Company in Denver, began helping a local antique dealer in doing estate sales and liquidations. In 1983, the aforementioned dealer, tiring of estate sales, offered to turn the estate sale business over to Judy. She took on a partner, and The Estate Wizards were born.
In 1991, Judy and her partner split up, but Judy kept the Estate Wizards name, and continued the business with the help of her husband, Mike.
In 1992, they changed the name to A&A Estate Wizards for better placement in alphabetical business listings.
Finally, in 2001, Judy and Mike decided to incorporate the Wizards, and the company officially became A&A Estate Wizards, Inc. as it is known to this day.
The Estate Sale Wizards Today
Judy, with her razor-sharp memory for pricing and outgoing personality for sales, is really in her element when executing estate liquidations, while Mike, a computer specialist, prefers to remain more in the background, maintaining the company website and email list, doing the accounting, and occasionally lending muscle to the sale set-up or close-down proceedings.
Over the years, Judy often referred estate sales that the Wizards could not do due to schedule conflicts to Mary Buechler of Colorado Country Estate Sales. After some years, they began helping each other out, when a larger sale demanded more manpower. They discovered that their skills complimented one another, and that they enjoyed working together. So, for the last two years, A&A Estate Wizards and Colorado Country Estate Sales have been joining forces more and more often.
If for some reason you cannot contact Estate Wizards, be sure to visit Colorado Country Estate Sales for your estate sale needs.
